Dimanche Rouge presents a performance by Emilio Rojas, an interdisciplinary artist originating from Mexico City, at the Plateforme gallery at 8pm on August 2nd, 2013. Admission is free.

Emilio Rojas is a Mexican performance artist who works with video, public interventions, photography and installations. His work explores the relation between the artist and his audience, requiring the participation of the viewer in order to set in motion the metaphors that unveil the intricacy of his art. By exploring the mental and physical limits of his being, Rojas reevaluates language, gender, activism, tradition, ritual, displacement, migration and sexuality. His work has been exhibited in the US, Mexico, Canada, Austria, England, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia.
